Yan Braga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Joel Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yan Braga having to interfere. Yan Braga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Fantini, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Rodeio's Yan Braga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Fantini in the 18th minute of play. Jonas de Godoy hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute, Rafael Fantini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yan Braga made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Joel Branco sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arlindo Arce during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rafael Fantini charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rafael Fantini the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Rodeio booed when Bacaubas EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Fantini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leandro de Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zacarias Abreu in the 28th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dráuzio Moreno during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a little luck, Rodeio's Yan Braga got control of the ball when Joel Branco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Yan Braga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rafael Fantini's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iuri Madureira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafael Fantini in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yan Braga saved Rodeio from getting behind. In the 60th minute, Joel Branco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 63 minutes, Rafael Fantini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bacaubas EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Fantini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yan Braga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Branco, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. When Elder Rosa fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bacaubas EC's protests and gave Elder Rosa a yellow card for diving instead. Luiz Mendes charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luiz Mendes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Lauro Schmidt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Fantini in the 87th minute of play forced Rodeio's goalkeeper Yan Braga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel Branco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yan Braga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. A collision led to Rodeio getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Luiz Mendes hit a great ball. Yan Braga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Branco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lauro Schmidt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chiquinho de Brito kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Rafael Fantini managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bacaubas EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafael Fantini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yan Braga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Despite being the better team, Bacaubas EC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
