Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Thomás Diniz started the match with the kick off. Carlinhos Catarinense made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Perivaldo Arantes sent off a good shot on target. Luiz Gustavo Ferraz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sílvio Luiz Trancoso in the 13th minute of play. Sílvio Luiz Trancoso hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. A collision led to Pocoes EC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Luiz Fábio Vinhas hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the match, Valentina F.C.'s Ramiro Passos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luiz Gustavo Ferraz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Pocoes EC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Luiz Fábio Vinhas hit a great ball. Luiz Gustavo Ferraz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ramiro Passos's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Carlinhos Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomás Diniz in the 29th minute of play. After having played for 33 minutes, Dinei Baiano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valentina F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Dinei Baiano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Pocoes EC defense, Ramiro Passos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luiz Gustavo Ferraz. The Pocoes EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luiz Gustavo Ferraz should have stopped the shot. When Valentina F.C.'s Ramiro Passos in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pocoes EC's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Pocoes EC's zone, Raphael Neves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Gustavo Ferraz came out of the goal and Raphael Neves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luiz Gustavo Ferraz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramiro Passos, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Raphael Neves charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raphael Neves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Raphael Neves hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After the first half Valentina F.C. were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ramiro Passos to make the kick off. Luiz Gustavo Ferraz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Allan Vasconcelos in the 53rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Allan Vasconcelos took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Luiz Gustavo Ferraz to make any attempt to save it. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Ramiro Passos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valentina F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Ramiro Passos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Gustavo Ferraz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A hard shot 63 in the game by Ramiro Passos from a close distance when the talented Luiz Gustavo Ferraz managed to make a qualified save. Pocoes EC's players were relieved. In the 64th minute, Oséas Quaresma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ramiro Passos hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ramiro Passos in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Gustavo Ferraz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Perivaldo Arantes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlinhos Catarinense having to interfere. Valentina F.C. made a substitution. Serafim Mandrak replaced Jacinto Jacinto. Oséas Quaresma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Ramiro Passos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valentina F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Ramiro Passos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Gustavo Ferraz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dinei Baiano in the 84th minute of play forced Pocoes EC's goalkeeper Luiz Gustavo Ferraz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Narciso Sabóia hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Dinei Baiano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ramiro Passos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Belchior Vieira hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute, Oséas Quaresma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valentina F.C. played a much better game than Pocoes EC and deserved their victory. The Pocoes EC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
