Dedé Prata made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Claudinho Zanette took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Hélio Xavier to make any attempt to save it. Paulo Tróia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Rodriguinho Luz fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cangas FC's protests and gave Rodriguinho Luz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th match minute, Cangas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodriguinho Luz to maneuver through the defense. vAux EC's Hélio Xavier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinho Zanette in the 95th minute of play. The Cangas FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented vAux EC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
