Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Luís Gustavo Eger started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute of the match Joel Valladares shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alberto Loyola showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 7 minutes of play, Gomes SS's Luís Fábio do Nascimento made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alberto Loyola was left in no man's land by his defense there! Faustão Varela might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sabino Leão. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Faustão Varela ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Gomes SS getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Luiz Gustavo Mumbach hit a great ball. Gomes SS's Sabino Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Gustavo Eger in the 17th minute of play. When Luís Gustavo Eger came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Corrida EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Gustavo Eger couldn't finish the play. Alberto Loyola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian do Vale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute, Corrida EC's Luís Gustavo Eger ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sabino Leão. Sabino Leão yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Luiz Gustavo Mumbach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Conrado Senna hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Luís Gustavo Eger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Gustavo Eger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sabino Leão having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luís Fábio do Nascimento to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fábio do Nascimento in the 64th minute of play forced Corrida EC's goalkeeper Alberto Loyola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gomes SS's Sabino Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustão Varela in the 70th minute of play. Faustão Varela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Gustavo Eger took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sabino Leão. Sabino Leão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Luís Gustavo Eger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sabino Leão came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Corrida EC's Luís Gustavo Eger. But to his dismay, Luís Gustavo Eger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 89th minute, Luís Gustavo Eger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Faustão Varela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Corrida EC's goalkeeper Alberto Loyola, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 96 minutes, Luís Gustavo Eger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corrida EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Gustavo Eger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Corrida EC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
