Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Luiz Fábio Oliveira made the kick off which started today's match. Vladimir Mendonça recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. José Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedrão Sabóia having to interfere. In the 10th minute Celsinho Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrão Sabóia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vladimir Mendonça fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Belmiro Sabóia having to interfere. In the 21stth minute of the game Celsinho Mendonça who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Florida's Pedrão Sabóia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. José Carneiro scored 0-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedrão Sabóia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pedrão Sabóia came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Itaquahy's José Carneiro. But to his dismay, José Carneiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Vladimir Mendonça could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Belmiro Sabóia made a huge save. Celsinho Mendonça took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedrão Sabóia. Pedrão Sabóia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Carneiro in the 43rd minute of play forced Florida's goalkeeper Pedrão Sabóia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Celsinho Mendonça was the one to do the kick off. José Carneiro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pedrão Sabóia came out and tried to block the shot, but José Carneiro slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 52nd minute. The supporters of Itaquahy booed when Florida was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Fábio Oliveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Itaquahy's José Carneiro got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 62 minutes into the game, Luiz Fábio Oliveira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Florida's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Itaquahy the free kick. In the 62nd minute, Luiz Fábio Oliveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Carneiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Pedrão Sabóia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedrão Sabóia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celsinho Mendonça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. José Carneiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 72 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Florida! In the 74th minute there was a penalty for Itaquahy. Alberto Martins stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Pedrão Sabóia. 1-5. In the 76th minute, Alberto Martins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Celsinho Mendonça managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itaquahy's supporters rose to their feet, but Celsinho Mendonça was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedrão Sabóia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pedrão Melo charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedrão Melo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pedrão Melo hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Adalmo Valadares struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Pedrão Sabóia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itaquahy. Pedrão Sabóia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celsinho Mendonça in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute Celsinho Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrão Sabóia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Florida's goal looked a bit too open when Celsinho Mendonça came free, but Pedrão Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedrão Sabóia having to interfere. Itaquahy's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
