Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dida Peixoto started the match with the kick off. Arlindo Cardozo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clóvis Negri in the 3rd minute of play. In the 4th minute, Naldo Garcia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Praceiro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Giovani Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arlindo Cardozo having to interfere. Henrique Pires showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Naldo Garcia in the 14th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Unidos do Chora's Kléber Messias got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute Naldo Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrique Pires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 18 played minutes, Praceiro's Ademar Cavalcante shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Henrique Pires came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Praceiro reached it. Henrique Pires showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Naldo Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Eliseu Monteiro struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Henrique Pires didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Praceiro. Nilmar Paiva kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Henrique Pires made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Naldo Garcia in the 33rd minute of play. Naldo Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrique Pires having to interfere. A collision led to Unidos do Chora getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Renato Leão hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tales Vale in the 46th minute of play forced Praceiro's goalkeeper Arlindo Cardozo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arlindo Cardozo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tales Vale went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tales Vale to make the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Unidos do Chora was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renato Leão to maneuver through the defense. 59 minutes into the match, Tales Vale notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Praceiro's Arlindo Cardozo. Arlindo Cardozo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 67 played minutes Unidos do Chora got a freekick which was hit by Clóvis Negri. In the 69th match minute, Unidos do Chora was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luizinho Catarinense to maneuver through the defense. Dida Peixoto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Naldo Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Henrique Pires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 85 minutes, Eliseu Monteiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Praceiro and the Unidos do Chora players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Praceiro getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Eliseu Monteiro hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute, Naldo Garcia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Unidos do Chora support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
