Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Téo Oliveira made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Canaa SS's Emerson Albuquerque fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. A collision led to Canaa SS getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Zé Roberto Velloso hit a great ball. Emerson Albuquerque received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Celsinho Moraes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Pirapetinga getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Bernardo Sá hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Pirapetinga's Bernardo Sá got a free kick in the 14th minute. Angelo Fonseca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernardo Sá's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Angelo Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Róbson Hermes, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Celsinho Moraes came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Canaa SS's Téo Oliveira. But to his dismay, Téo Oliveira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 24 played minutes Pirapetinga got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldo da Costa. Emerson Albuquerque took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Celsinho Moraes. Celsinho Moraes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The supporters of Canaa SS booed when Pirapetinga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raphael de Senna didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Pirapetinga's zone, Téo Oliveira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celsinho Moraes came out of the goal and Téo Oliveira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Celsinho Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Téo Oliveira in the 34th minute of the match. When Canaa SS's Téo Oliveira in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pirapetinga's goalie prevented a goal. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pirapetinga's goalkeeper Celsinho Moraes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emerson Albuquerque in the 44th minute of play forced Pirapetinga's goalkeeper Celsinho Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emerson Albuquerque received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Celsinho Moraes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Egídio Amaral got free with Angelo Fonseca in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Róbson Hermes to make the kick off. Celsinho Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Téo Oliveira in the 54th minute of the match. The supporters of Pirapetinga booed when Canaa SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Roberto Neto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 62 played minutes Canaa SS got a freekick which was hit by Zé Roberto Velloso. After having played for 68 minutes, Emerson Albuquerque managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canaa SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emerson Albuquerque was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Pirapetinga booed when Canaa SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horácio Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mário Urbano, 73 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Róbson Hermes in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angelo Fonseca saved Canaa SS from getting behind. Emerson Albuquerque's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Celsinho Moraes firmly grabbed it by the left post. Pirapetinga's Celsinho Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Téo Oliveira in the 89th minute of play. When the match was over Canaa SS could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pirapetinga throughout the match.
