With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonas Ramalho in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Breno Barreto saved Podimirim EC from getting behind. Claudinho Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. If Jonas Ramalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Fidie SS booed when Podimirim EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomás Recife didn't get a good kick on the ball. Breno Barreto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Ramalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After 26 played minutes Podimirim EC got a freekick which was hit by Thomás Recife. Luís Gustavo Barral took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Breno Barreto. Podimirim EC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When José Carlos Amaral came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Podimirim EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Carlos Amaral couldn't finish the play. Zeca Marques made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Claudinho Amaral sent off a good shot on target. In the 36th match minute, Fidie SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Gustavo Barral to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Fidie SS booed when Podimirim EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Guerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Breno Barreto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Ramalho in the 38th minute of the match. If Jonas Ramalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Benjamin Antunes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fidie SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Benjamin Antunes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Breno Barreto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Breno Barreto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Ramalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 48 minutes into the match, Jonas Ramalho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Breno Barreto. Podimirim EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonas Ramalho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

With his leg Breno Barreto managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Fidie SS's Jonas Ramalho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 59th minute José Carlos Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeca Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Fidie SS's goal looked a bit too open when José Carlos Amaral came free, but Zeca Marques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonas Ramalhos short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got Breno Barreto to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Fidie SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Podimirim EC the free kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonas Ramalho in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Breno Barreto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 86 minutes in the game, Jonas Ramalho dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Jonas Ramalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Luís Gustavo Barral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fidie SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Gustavo Barral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Breno Barreto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 96 minutes, Jonas Ramalho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fidie SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonas Ramalho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
