Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edinho Brodel started the match with the kick off. In the 9th minute of the match Rafinha Pernambucano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jorge Mesquita showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 12 minutes into the game, Marcus Lira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Canela FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Misael the free kick. In the 12th match minute, Canela FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Lira to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the match, Misael's Rafinha Pernambucano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jorge Mesquita narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Canela FC's Oséas Ferreira got a free kick in the 14th minute. Ernani Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Jorge Mesquita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorge Mesquita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nando Barbosa in the 18th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Edinho Brodel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edinho Valle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edinho Brodel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Edinho Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edinho Valle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edinho Brodel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the match, Canela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nando Barbosa came free, but Jorge Mesquita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claudinei Mendes struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Edinho Valle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Canela FC. Jorge Mesquita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernani Sena in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 47th minute Nando Barbosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Mesquita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nando Barbosa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Edinho Valle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edinho Brodel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Misael getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Jardel Gaspar hit a great ball. Misael's Edinho Valle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinei Mendes in the 55th minute of play. When Nando Barbosa came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Misael fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nando Barbosa couldn't finish the play. If Nando Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Oséas Ferreira fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Canela FC's protests and gave Oséas Ferreira a yellow card for diving instead. Oséas Ferreira kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. When Claudinei Mendes came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Canela FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudinei Mendes couldn't finish the play. When Jardel Gaspar was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 73 minutes had been played. A collision led to Misael getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Jardel Gaspar hit a great ball. Edinho Valle didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edinho Brodel went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 81stth minute of the game Edinho Brodel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Misael's Edinho Valle was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edinho Valle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edinho Brodel, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 92nd minute, Edinho Brodel made a precise shot to the right of Edinho Valle. Misael's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Canela FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
