Alberto Eger's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Glauco Custódio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Eger in the 8th minute of play forced Tatuapé City F.C.'s goalkeeper Glauco Custódio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 10 minutes, Natanael de Amaral mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tatuapé City F.C. and the Ipiiba AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tatuapé City F.C.'s Natanael de Amaral got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 17thth minute of the game Alberto Eger who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tatuapé City F.C.'s Glauco Custódio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alberto Eger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Glauco Custódio having to interfere. Richard Proença recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Glauco Custódio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto Eger's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Alberto Eger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Glauco Custódio having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diamantino Domingues got free with Alfredão Esteves in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberto Eger in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Glauco Custódio saved Tatuapé City F.C. from getting behind. When Natã Meira came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Ipiiba AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Natã Meira couldn't finish the play. The Tatuapé City F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ipiiba AD were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Diamantino Domingues made the kick off in the second half. Glauco Custódio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Richard Proença in the 52nd minute. Natanael de Amaral was shown his second yellow card after 54 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 54th minute, Natanael de Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Richard Proença received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Glauco Custódio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Diamantino Domingues managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tatuapé City F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Diamantino Domingues was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfredão Esteves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Ipiiba AD defense, Jefferson Gaspar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfredão Esteves. The Ipiiba AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfredão Esteves should have stopped the shot. Jefferson Gaspar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredão Esteves having to interfere. Jefferson Gaspar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Alfredão Esteves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Ipiiba AD's goal looked a bit too open when Jefferson Gaspar came free, but Alfredão Esteves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Jefferson Gaspar came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Tatuapé City F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jefferson Gaspar couldn't finish the play. In the 79th minute, Natã Meira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jefferson Gaspar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tatuapé City F.C.'s Jefferson Gaspar got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. João Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. The supporters of Ipiiba AD booed when Tatuapé City F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zézinho Capixaba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alberto Eger in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Glauco Custódio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Diamantino Domingues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredão Esteves having to interfere. Richard Proença succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 95th playminute. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Tatuapé City F.C. lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
