Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dionísio Santos made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the match, Galante FC's Rafa de Godoi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leandro Cabral narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Manuel Mumbach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Mumbach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 11 played minutes Galante FC got a freekick which was hit by Doni de Moraes. When Adhemar Motta fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Galante FC's protests and gave Adhemar Motta a yellow card for diving instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dionísio Santos in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Luiz Cerezo saved Galante FC from getting behind. Manuel Mumbach recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dionísio Santos in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Luiz Cerezo saved Galante FC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice moves Manuel Mumbach could shoot a difficult shot in the 20th minute, which Pedro Luiz Cerezo however easily saved by the left post. With a little luck, Galante FC's Pedro Luiz Cerezo got control of the ball when Dadá Mangueira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dionísio Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Luiz Cerezo having to interfere. Benedito Travassos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Luiz Cerezo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Pedro Luiz Cerezo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dionísio Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dionísio Santos was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 45th minute. Heliodora's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Dadá Mangueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rafa de Godoi was the one to do the kick off. Manuel Mumbach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Luiz Cerezo having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Dionísio Santos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Heliodora fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dionísio Santos in the 67th minute of play forced Galante FC's goalkeeper Pedro Luiz Cerezo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute Manuel Mumbach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Luiz Cerezo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Galante FC's zone, Dionísio Santos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Luiz Cerezo came out of the goal and Dionísio Santos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Manuel Mumbach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dionísio Santos in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Luiz Cerezo saved Galante FC from getting behind. Pedro Luiz Cerezo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dionísio Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After a rather tough play, Galante FC's Adhemar Motta got a free kick in the 80th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Manuel Mumbach notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Galante FC's Pedro Luiz Cerezo. Pedro Luiz Cerezo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pedro Luiz Cerezo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Mumbach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87thth minute of the game Manuel Mumbach who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Galante FC's Pedro Luiz Cerezo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pedro Luiz Cerezo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dionísio Santos in the 89th minute of the match. Matías Luz's late challenge caught a Heliodora's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matías Luz helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Galante FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Matías Luz hit a great ball. Pedro Luiz Cerezo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dionísio Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Luiz Cerezo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionísio Santos in the 95th minute of play. Pedro Luiz Cerezo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Mumbach, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Pedro Luiz Cerezo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manuel Mumbach went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. There was no doubt that Heliodora were the better team. Heliodora's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
