Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The referee felt a red card was in order, 9 minutes into the game, when Kaká de Castro put in a rough tackle. 8 minutes into the game, one of Sapecado:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Balavenuto FC a penalty, 10 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Reynaldo Coutinho, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Sapecado's Adalberto Gaúcho. 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sílvio Faria during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Roger Leão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Adalberto Gaúcho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Sapecado getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Daniil Prikourakis hit a great ball. Daniil Prikourakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Simão having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Robinho Quaresma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Balavenuto FC's Reynaldo Coutinho shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 33rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Adalberto Gaúcho but with some difficulty. After having played for 38 minutes, Daniil Prikourakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sapecado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniil Prikourakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniil Prikourakis in the 43rd minute of play forced Balavenuto FC's goalkeeper Leopoldo Simão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniil Prikourakis made a kick off. Balavenuto FC's Guilherme de Queirós got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reynaldo Baiano during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Sapecado booed when Balavenuto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo Baiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Balavenuto FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Daniil Prikourakis scored to the left of an out of position Leopoldo Simão, making the score, 1-1. Adalberto Gaúcho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guilherme de Queirós, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 64 minutes into the match, Guilherme de Queirós notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Sapecado's Adalberto Gaúcho. Adalberto Gaúcho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Leopoldo Simão made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Daniil Prikourakis sent off a good shot on target. 70 minutes into the match, Sapecado's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Leão came free, but Adalberto Gaúcho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adalberto Gaúcho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Luiz Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th match minute, Balavenuto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roland Tham to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute André Luiz Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adalberto Gaúcho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Sapecado defense, Roger Leão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adalberto Gaúcho. The Sapecado fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adalberto Gaúcho should have stopped the shot. Leopoldo Simão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniil Prikourakis's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Sapecado's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
