With a couple of smart ball manuevers Júlio Loyola in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafinha Nascimento saved Acima EC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Agostinho Guerra in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafinha Nascimento prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Caiua SC's Júlio Loyola in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Acima EC's goalie prevented a goal. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Júlio Loyola sped through Acima EC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rafinha Nascimento. Roberto Veiga kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Acima EC's Conrado Pinheiro got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Caiua SC's Júlio Loyola in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Acima EC's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 30 minutes, Celsinho Vieira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caiua SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celsinho Vieira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Juan Torres's late challenge caught a Caiua SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juan Torres helped the player get up and apologised. Paulão Branco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Torres, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Júlio Loyola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cido Palmeira charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cido Palmeira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 39 played minutes Caiua SC got a freekick which was hit by Cido Palmeira. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agostinho Guerra in the 42nd minute of play forced Acima EC's goalkeeper Rafinha Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafinha Nascimento stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Júlio Loyola's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. The Acima EC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Caiua SC were winning 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Júlio Loyola made a kick off. The supporters of Acima EC booed when Caiua SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cido Palmeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafinha Nascimento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agostinho Guerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 59th minute, Betinho Sabóia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Júlio Loyola sped through Acima EC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rafinha Nascimento. In the 71st minute, Adelino Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 72 minutes into the match, Caiua SC's goal looked a bit too open when Murillo Carioca came free, but Paulão Branco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Júlio Loyola sped through Acima EC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rafinha Nascimento. With a little luck, Acima EC's Rafinha Nascimento got control of the ball when Júlio Loyola tried to sneak it across the goal line. Júlio Loyola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Rafinha Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
