Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Noel Arósio started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Edgar de Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Urbano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Banquete SS's zone, Acácio Borges stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgar de Toledo came out of the goal and Acácio Borges tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Noel Arósio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Banquete SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Noel Arósio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valdir Souza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 23 minutes into the match, Banquete SS's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Urbano came free, but Edgar de Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Acácio Borges received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Edgar de Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacinto Urbano in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgar de Toledo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 30 minutes into the game, Edgard Almeida was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Banquete SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ibrahy the free kick. In the 30th match minute, Banquete SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Almeida to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute, Jacinto Urbano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ibrahy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Emerson Tande's late challenge caught a Ibrahy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emerson Tande helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ibrahy booed when Banquete SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emerson Tande didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute, Acácio Borges made a precise shot to the right of Edgar de Toledo. Banquete SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Acácio Borges in the 46th minute of play forced Banquete SS's goalkeeper Edgar de Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Acácio Borges received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Edgar de Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Edgar de Toledo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Acácio Borges in the 53rd minute. Jacinto Urbano did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-3 to the left of a surprised Edgar de Toledo 58 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Luís Fabiano Lima from long distance, 62 minutes into the match, got Edgar de Toledo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Edgar de Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Acácio Borges in the 65th minute of play. Acácio Borges took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edgar de Toledo. Edgar de Toledo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. In the 87th minute Noel Arósio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdir Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 2-5 when Acácio Borges sped through Banquete SS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Edgar de Toledo. Ramón Barbosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Valdir Souza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danilo de Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
