Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Fabrício Faria got the match started through his kick off. A collision led to Banquete SS getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Jorge da Fonseca hit a great ball. In the 5th match minute, Banquete SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Almeida to maneuver through the defense. Edgard Almeida hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute, Luís Fábio Coelho sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Banquete SS's Edgar de Toledo didn't even have to move. Emerson Tande hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Tostão Dantas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Edgar de Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Banquete SS's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Fabrício Faria 14 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. When Richard Gerber fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Banquete SS's protests and gave Richard Gerber a yellow card for diving instead. With his leg Edgar de Toledo managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Campeoníssimo's Tostão Dantas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Fabrício Faria's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edgar de Toledo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Campeoníssimo's Jefferson Neto got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Banquete SS's Danilo de Almeida got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Noel Arósio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd match minute, Campeoníssimo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jefferson Neto to maneuver through the defense. Zé Augusto da Cunha was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 34th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Paulo Torres fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Campeoníssimo's protests and gave Paulo Torres a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Campeoníssimo getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Paulo Torres hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frederico Brito during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 39th minute, one of Campeoníssimo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Campeoníssimo. In the 42nd minute there was a penalty for Banquete SS. Zé Augusto da Cunha stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cristian Mesquita. 1-1. Noel Arósio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo de Almeida in the 48th minute of play forced Campeoníssimo's goalkeeper Cristian Mesquita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 53rd minute, one of Banquete SS:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Banquete SS. A collision led to Campeoníssimo getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Frederico Brito hit a great ball. Edgar de Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabrício Faria in the 60th minute of the match. Campeoníssimo's Tostão Dantas got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Edu Ortiz fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Campeoníssimo's protests and gave Edu Ortiz a yellow card for diving instead. Edu Ortiz kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Edgar de Toledo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabrício Faria went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Fabrício Faria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 73 minutes into the match, Banquete SS's goal looked a bit too open when Tostão Dantas came free, but Edgar de Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th match minute, Banquete SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emerson Tande to maneuver through the defense. Edgar de Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tostão Dantas in the 75th minute of the match. Fabrício Faria might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edgar de Toledo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabrício Faria ran back to his position shaking his head. Edgar de Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jefferson Neto in the 81st minute of play. Fabrício Faria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edgar de Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabrício Faria, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Banquete SS's zone, Tostão Dantas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgar de Toledo came out of the goal and Tostão Dantas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Banquete SS's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
