Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jacinto Urbano started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabrício Faria in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valdir Souza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vicente Salgado hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Valdir Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tostão Dantas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Fabrício Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 11 minutes of play, Campeoníssimo's Tostão Dantas made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valdir Souza was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 14 minutes, Tostão Dantas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Campeoníssimo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tostão Dantas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fabrício Faria's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valdir Souza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabrício Faria in the 20th minute of play forced Ibrahy's goalkeeper Valdir Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Acácio Borges might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristian Mesquita. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Acácio Borges ran back to his position shaking his head. Valdir Souza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabrício Faria went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Fabrício Faria struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Valdir Souza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Campeoníssimo. Valdir Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tostão Dantas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39thth minute of the game Fabrício Faria who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ibrahy's Valdir Souza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Campeoníssimo's Fabrício Faria sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valdir Souza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Erivaldo Madureira charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erivaldo Madureira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ibrahy booed when Campeoníssimo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erivaldo Madureira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabrício Faria to make the kick off. Tostão Dantas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdir Souza having to interfere. A collision led to Campeoníssimo getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Edu Ortiz hit a great ball. Cristian Mesquita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Acácio Borges in the 66th minute of the match. After having played for 67 minutes, Jacinto Urbano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ibrahy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacinto Urbano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabrício Faria in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valdir Souza saved Ibrahy from getting behind. A collision led to Ibrahy getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Murilo Quintal hit a great ball. The corner led Campeoníssimo's Luís Fábio Coelho to fire away a dangerous shot which Valdir Souza despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 85 minutes into the game, one of Ibrahy:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Tostão Dantas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Valdir Souza made a huge save. Tostão Dantas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 98 played minutes Campeoníssimo got a freekick which was hit by Edu Ortiz. When the match was over Campeoníssimo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ibrahy throughout the match.
