Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, Siriu's Ramón Leite sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Michel Rezende narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Siriu's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dudu Fontes in the 5th minute. Giovanni Tasso kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. A collision led to Querera getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Walmir Araújo hit a great ball. After having played for 20 minutes, Ramón Leite managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Siriu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramón Leite was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ramón Leite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Michel Rezende tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Siriu's Giovanni Tasso got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ramón Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramón Leite did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Michel Rezende 35 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramón Leite in the 38th minute of play forced Querera's goalkeeper Michel Rezende to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flávio Tróia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique do Valle in the 39th minute of play. Querera's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Olavo Paiva in the 43rd minute. Osvaldinho Tasso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Enrique do Valle was the one to do the kick off. Michel Rezende showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramón Leite in the 53rd minute of the match. Ramón Leite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Michel Rezende tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ramón Leite got in the 60th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Michel Rezende handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. If Ramón Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute Lucas Vaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michel Rezende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute of the match Virgílio Capixaba shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Michel Rezende showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Ramón Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Querera defense, Giovanni Tasso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Michel Rezende. The Querera fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Michel Rezende should have stopped the shot. Querera's Carlinhos Dias got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Osvaldinho Tasso struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Flávio Tróia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Querera. Ramón Leite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michel Rezende having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Enrique do Valle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Bebeto Abreu fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Siriu's protests and gave Bebeto Abreu a yellow card for diving instead. After 93 played minutes Siriu got a freekick which was hit by Bebeto Abreu. Flávio Tróia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique do Valle, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. When the referee ended the match the Siriu players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
