Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amílton Moura ran back to his position shaking his head. Osasco SS's Romário do Valle got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Osasco SS defense, Tomé Gonçalves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernandinho Cabral. The Osasco SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernandinho Cabral should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Osasco SS's zone, Tomé Gonçalves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernandinho Cabral came out of the goal and Tomé Gonçalves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Tomé Gonçalves sped through Osasco SS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fernandinho Cabral. Afonso Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mad Season's Christian Hermes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Mad Season from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Mad Season's Tomé Gonçalves got a free kick in the 27th minute. Romário do Valle in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Christian Hermes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 31 minutes into the match, Osasco SS's goal looked a bit too open when Tomé Gonçalves came free, but Fernandinho Cabral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Afonso Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Christian Hermes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the game, Mad Season's Donaldi Tusk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fernandinho Cabral made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After having played for 40 minutes, Donaldi Tusk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mad Season's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donaldi Tusk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fernandinho Cabral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomé Gonçalves in the 42nd minute of play. Jonas Valladares's late challenge caught a Mad Season's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonas Valladares helped the player get up and apologised. Jonas Valladares kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. It was beautiful to see Mad Season's Zé Mañe in action when he in the 45th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! The Osasco SS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mad Season were winning 0-3.
The wind increased when Tomé Gonçalves made the kick off in the second half. Fernandinho Cabral made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Donaldi Tusk sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucas do Valle during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 54th match minute, Osasco SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas do Valle to maneuver through the defense. Fernandinho Cabral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomé Gonçalves in the 59th minute of play. If Donaldi Tusk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the match, Gil da Fonseca notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Osasco SS's Fernandinho Cabral. Fernandinho Cabral was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kauan Arósio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomé Gonçalves couldn't finish the play. If Gil da Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 75 minutes, Romário do Valle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Osasco SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romário do Valle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomé Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernandinho Cabral having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Gil da Fonseca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fernandinho Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernandinho Cabral stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Donaldi Tusk's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. 95 minutes into the match, Osasco SS's goal looked a bit too open when Tomé Gonçalves came free, but Fernandinho Cabral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gil da Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Mad Season could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Osasco SS throughout the match.
