Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Vinícius Gerber got the match started through his kick off. When Wellington Netto fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mau EC's protests and gave Wellington Netto a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Mau EC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Wellington Netto hit a great ball. In the 4th minute André Luiz Damião shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Perivaldo Novaes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 0-1 became the score in the 6th minute when André Luiz Damião elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With 12 minutes on the clock, Marcus do Nascimento commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 12th minute of the game. One of Guando EC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mau EC:s goal. Carlos Augusto Lopez hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Lauro Trigo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cássio Cardozo firmly grabbed it by the left post. Natã Peixoto kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 25th minute, André Luiz Damião left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Guando EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. André Luiz Damião struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Perivaldo Novaes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guando EC. 33 minutes into the game, Alexsandro Vinhas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guando EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mau EC the free kick. After 34 played minutes Guando EC got a freekick which was hit by Alexsandro Vinhas. Perivaldo Novaes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Luiz Damião, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Perivaldo Novaes came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Guando EC's Alexsandro Vinhas. But to his dismay, Alexsandro Vinhas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. If André Luiz Damião had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. André Luiz Damião was the one to do the kick off. Guando EC's Natã Peixoto quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Rony Toscano, made in the 51st minute of the game. In the 53rd minute Caco do Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Perivaldo Novaes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Luiz Damião in the 58th minute of play forced Mau EC's goalkeeper Perivaldo Novaes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Perivaldo Novaes made an important save on a dangerous shot by André Luiz Damião in the 59th minute. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 1-4 when André Luiz Damião sped through Mau EC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Perivaldo Novaes. Guando EC's attentive Álvaro do Valle managed to snatch the ball when Elói Pernambucano made a throw-in in the 65th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Álvaro do Valle in the 65th minute of play forced Mau EC's goalkeeper Perivaldo Novaes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. André Luiz Damião received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Perivaldo Novaes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard, long distance shot from Álvaro do Valle flew over the goal. Perivaldo Novaes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Luiz Damião in the 75th minute of the match. The supporters of Mau EC booed when Guando EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Washington Borges didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Mau EC's Vinícius Gerber got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 80th minute, Alexsandro Vinhas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Perivaldo Novaes was a little too slow when André Luiz Damião got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 2-5. André Luiz Damião received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Perivaldo Novaes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cássio Cardozo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nico Marques went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-5 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, André Luiz Damião managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guando EC's supporters rose to their feet, but André Luiz Damião was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Perivaldo Novaes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Guando EC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
