When Artur Queiroz came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Durande fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artur Queiroz couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luís Gustavo Soeiro made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Alberto Bueno in the 52nd minute of play forced Durande's goalkeeper Rubens Soeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luiz Paulo do Nascimento in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rubens Soeiro saved Durande from getting behind. Durande's Artur Queiroz got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Artur Queiroz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Simão Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gabriel Borges hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. João Pedro Capixaba took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rubens Soeiro. Durande's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Pocinhos FC's goalkeeper Erik Pitta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Orlando Azevedo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Gustavo Soeiro in the 72nd minute of play forced Pocinhos FC's goalkeeper Erik Pitta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Pocinhos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Gustavo Soeiro came free, but Erik Pitta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute of the match Pocinhos FC got a corner. Durande's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. João Pedro Capixaba ran over to the corner to take the kick. Artur Queiroz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Erik Pitta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
