Lombardia FC's João Augusto da Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorival Travassos in the 9th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Dorival Travassos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of João Augusto da Costa. Lombardia FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dorival Travassos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dorival Travassos in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg João Augusto da Costa saved Lombardia FC from getting behind. In the 25thth minute of the game Bernardo dos Santos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lombardia FC's João Augusto da Costa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Orienta getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. João Vítor do Valle hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Lombardia FC's zone, Bernardo dos Santos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Augusto da Costa came out of the goal and Bernardo dos Santos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dorival Travassos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the game, Orienta's Dorival Travassos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. João Augusto da Costa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. João Augusto da Costa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dorival Travassos's shot from short distance in the 44th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iuri Trancoso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. João Augusto da Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorival Travassos in the 87th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Lombardia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dorival Travassos came free, but João Augusto da Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Orienta's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
