In the 7th minute of the match Valdomiro Araújo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Laércio Queiroz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 10 minutes into the match, S.C.Internacional's goal looked a bit too open when Durvalino Massa came free, but Laércio Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Glauco Zanette came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the S.C.Internacional fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Glauco Zanette couldn't finish the play. After 16 minutes, Elder Leme mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S.C.Internacional and the Berlengas AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to S.C.Internacional getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Elder Leme hit a great ball. In the 19th minute, Adriano Farias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. S.C.Internacional's Laércio Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christiano Toscano in the 22nd minute of play. Glauco Zanette sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Glauco Zanette received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Dagoberto Secco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Laércio Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celsinho do Vale in the 43rd minute of the match. Laércio Queiroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celsinho do Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute.
