Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Deivid Velasco kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Boaventura SS booed when Marins was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emílio Meira didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Basílio Goiano took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Rogério Abraão to make any attempt to save it. Boaventura SS's Celso Eger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrício Freitas in the 12th minute of play. Patrício Freitas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Celso Eger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joel Abreu took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rogério Abraão. Rogério Abraão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. If Basílio Goiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 21 minutes, Ediberto Paraibano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boaventura SS and the Marins players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 21 played minutes Boaventura SS got a freekick which was hit by Ediberto Paraibano. Joel Abreu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Basílio Goiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute, Deivid Velasco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Egídio Netto kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Marins defense, Joel Abreu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rogério Abraão. The Marins fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rogério Abraão should have stopped the shot. In the 46th minute, Basílio Goiano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Basílio Goiano to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Deivid Velasco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Patrício Freitas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Basílio Goiano came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Boaventura SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basílio Goiano couldn't finish the play. Joel Abreu took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rogério Abraão. Rogério Abraão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Joel Abreu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogério Abraão having to interfere. In the 82nd match minute, Boaventura SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denílson Berger to maneuver through the defense. When Marins's Patrício Freitas, in the 83rd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Marins. In the 86th minute, Zé Cavalcante had to leave the field with a concussion. Joel Abreu charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joel Abreu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 87th minute, Joel Abreu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Basílio Goiano in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rogério Abraão saved Marins from getting behind. 96 minutes into the match, Joel Abreu notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Marins's Rogério Abraão. Rogério Abraão was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
