Braunat's attack was well implemented in the 35th minute, but when Kaká Tavares was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Sílvio Luís Hermes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Kaká Tavares made the kick off in the second half. Mateus Figueiredo struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Marcinho Rosado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Iraquara. Kaká Tavares might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Enéas de Andrade. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kaká Tavares ran back to his position shaking his head. 57 minutes into the match, Sílvio Luís Hermes notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Braunat's Marcinho Rosado. Marcinho Rosado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Sílvio Luís Hermes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Iraquara's supporters rose to their feet, but Sílvio Luís Hermes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
