Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Kaká Tavares kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd match minute, Braunat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fernando Sampaio to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Braunat's Kaká Tavares got a free kick in the 5th minute. Victor Saraiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 9th minute Jerônimo Tande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcinho Rosado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When José Maria Lopes fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Braunat's protests and gave José Maria Lopes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 10th minute, José Maria Lopes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jerônimo Tande in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcinho Rosado saved Braunat from getting behind. Marcinho Rosado came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Baxito's Victor Saraiva. But to his dismay, Victor Saraiva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Victor Saraiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 28 minutes into the game, Baxito's Victor Saraiva nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcinho Rosado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After some careless play in the Braunat defense, Jerônimo Tande kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcinho Rosado. The Braunat fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcinho Rosado should have stopped the shot. Victor Saraiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcinho Rosado having to interfere. When Baxito's Jerônimo Tande in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Braunat's goalie prevented a goal. After the first half Baxito were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jerônimo Tande to make the kick off. When Victor Saraiva came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Baxito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victor Saraiva couldn't finish the play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 57 minutes into the game, when Dida da Silva put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Baxito fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 56th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Braunat a penalty, 59 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Aníbal Berger, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Baxito's Doriva Alcântara. 1-3. After having played for 64 minutes, Jerônimo Tande managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Baxito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jerônimo Tande was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Ivo Velloso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Baxito's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivo Velloso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcinho Rosado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jerônimo Tande in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcinho Rosado saved Braunat from getting behind. In the 71st minute Kaká Tavares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doriva Alcântara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Doriva Alcântara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Fernando Sampaio, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Doriva Alcântara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fernando Sampaio in the 74th minute of play. José Maria Lopes kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Braunat's Marcinho Rosado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerônimo Tande in the 82nd minute of play. Armando Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Marcinho Rosado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivo Velloso struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Marcinho Rosado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Baxito. Jerônimo Tande in the 88thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Marcinho Rosado, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Doriva Alcântara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaká Tavares in the 91st minute of play. In the 96th minute Kaká Tavares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doriva Alcântara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Baxito could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Braunat throughout the match.
