Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Jerônimo Tande started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 2 minutes into the game, Antônio Carlos da Silveira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Iraquara's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Baxito the free kick. The supporters of Baxito booed when Iraquara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antônio Carlos da Silveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sílvio Luís Hermes in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Doriva Alcântara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christian Coelho got free with Doriva Alcântara in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 11 played minutes Iraquara got a freekick which was hit by Christian Coelho. Enéas de Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerônimo Tande in the 12th minute of the match. Baxito's Jerônimo Tande got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Baxito's Doriva Alcântara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sílvio Luís Hermes in the 17th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ulisses Valladares during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Baxito getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Ulisses Valladares hit a great ball. Baxito's Doriva Alcântara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sílvio Luís Hermes in the 21st minute of play. With an all-out effort, Iraquara's Doriva Alcântara threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mateus Figueiredo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 31st minute of the match, Sílvio Luís Hermes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Doriva Alcântara saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Baxito's Jerônimo Tande got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Enéas de Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Saraiva in the 36th minute of play. In the 39th minute Ivo Velloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enéas de Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Iraquara's Christian Coelho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Doriva Alcântara. That made the score 1-0 after 41 minutes of play. Sílvio Luís Hermes made a nice solo performance in the 47th minute, and after some fine dribblings he sent off a powerful shot that went into the goal just inside the left post, 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sílvio Luís Hermes was the one to do the kick off. When Dida da Silva fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Baxito's protests and gave Dida da Silva a yellow card for diving instead. In the 54th match minute, Baxito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dida da Silva to maneuver through the defense. In the 57thth minute of the game Jerônimo Tande who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Iraquara's Enéas de Andrade was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sílvio Luís Hermes in the 59th minute of play forced Baxito's goalkeeper Doriva Alcântara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Doriva Alcântara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Coelho in the 60th minute of play. Enéas de Andrade stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jerônimo Tande's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. In the 66th minute, Victor Saraiva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ivo Velloso hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Victor Saraiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Enéas de Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jerônimo Tande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Antônio Carlos da Silveira kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Jerônimo Tande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Enéas de Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Victor Saraiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 95 minutes into the match, Baxito's Jerônimo Tande sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Enéas de Andrade narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ivo Velloso hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Many of Baxito's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Baxito may have spent more time on the ball, but Iraquara were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
