Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Betinho Mineiro took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd minute, Erasmo Maia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 5 minutes into the game, Tomás Santana recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Geovanni Pitta. Tomás Santana showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Hílton Cosme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Betinho Mineiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Korff FC's zone, Tomás Santana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geovanni Pitta came out of the goal and Tomás Santana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Korff FC's Geovanni Pitta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Santana in the 15th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 18th minute by Leonardo Breckenfeld got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Leonardo Breckenfeld came free with the goalkeeper in the 18th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Geovanni Pitta could save by the left post. Jubaia's Tomás Santana got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Betinho Mineiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute of the match Benê Leão shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hílton Cosme showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 35th minute, one of Jubaia:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Jubaia. Edson Madureira scored 1-1 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hílton Cosme, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Korff FC's Geovanni Pitta got control of the ball when Leonardo Breckenfeld tried to sneak it across the goal line. Severino Simão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Korff FC's Geovanni Pitta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Korff FC from getting a goal against them. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomás Santana was the one to do the kick off. After 53 minutes, Zé Paulo Leme mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Korff FC and the Jubaia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Geovanni Pitta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Breckenfeld, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Tomás Santana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Geovanni Pitta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Hílton Cosme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Betinho Mineiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Jubaia's Tomás Santana got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Jubaia's Rubinho Pereira got a free kick in the 63rd minute. After recieving a nice pass, Korff FC's Edson Madureira tried to score from far away in the 64th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Korff FC's Betinho Mineiro in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jubaia's goalie prevented a goal. Leonardo Breckenfeld sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute Tomás Santana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovanni Pitta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomás Santana in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Geovanni Pitta saved Korff FC from getting behind. Geovanni Pitta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Breckenfeld, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. If Leonardo Breckenfeld had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonardo Breckenfeld might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Geovanni Pitta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leonardo Breckenfeld ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 87th minute, Hortêncio Félix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edson Madureira's shot from long distance in the 88th minute was not bad at all, but Jubaia's Hílton Cosme knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Jubaia's Hílton Cosme proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Jubaia from getting a goal against them. In the 90th match minute, Jubaia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erasmo Maia to maneuver through the defense. Hílton Cosme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Betinho Mineiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geovanni Pitta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Breckenfeld in the 96th minute of play. Despite being the better team, Jubaia failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
