Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) GAINO's Abel Martins started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Abel Martins who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 4thth minute tested the skills of Otávio Penha when he managed to save the team from getting behind. GAINO's Joel Arruda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinei Ramos in the 5th minute of play. With his leg Otávio Penha managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when GAINO's Abel Martins fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 15th minute of the match Amadeu Koehler sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joel Arruda skillfully saved the ball. In the 23rdth minute of the game Abel Martins who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Breves EC's Otávio Penha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 23 minutes into the game, Sidnei Bittencourt recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Otávio Penha. Sidnei Bittencourt showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 29th minute Fred Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Arruda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute, Digo Arce ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joel Arruda was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. A collision led to Breves EC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Amadeu Koehler hit a great ball. After 38 played minutes GAINO got a freekick which was hit by Sidnei Bittencourt. A collision led to Breves EC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Fred Almeida hit a great ball. In the 45th minute, Sidnei Bittencourt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abel Martins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fred Almeida made a kick off. Otávio Penha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abel Martins's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. Otávio Penha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Martins, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Sidnei Bittencourt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Otávio Penha having to make a save. After 55 played minutes Breves EC got a freekick which was hit by Arí Magalhães. When GAINO's Abel Martins in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Breves EC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 60thth minute of the game Abel Martins who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Breves EC's Otávio Penha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Sidnei Bittencourt managed to get in a good position for a shot. GAINO's supporters rose to their feet, but Sidnei Bittencourt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Otávio Penha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Breves EC's zone, Gencay Akasma stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Otávio Penha came out of the goal and Gencay Akasma tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abel Martins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sidnei Bittencourt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otávio Penha having to interfere. Sidnei Bittencourt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Otávio Penha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Christiano Botelho managed to get in a good position for a shot. GAINO's supporters rose to their feet, but Christiano Botelho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Otávio Penha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 88 minutes of play, GAINO's Sidnei Bittencourt made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Otávio Penha was left in no man's land by his defense there! Otávio Penha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abel Martins's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Sidnei Bittencourt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otávio Penha having to interfere. There was no doubt that GAINO were the better team. GAINO's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
