Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Betinho Mineiro kicked off to start the match. After some careless play in the Korff FC defense, Abel Martins kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Geovanni Pitta. The Korff FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geovanni Pitta should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Abel Martins managed to get in a good position for a shot. GAINO's supporters rose to their feet, but Abel Martins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geovanni Pitta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hélder Oliveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Geovanni Pitta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Abel Martins's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Geovanni Pitta was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. If Abel Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee felt a red card was in order, 23 minutes into the game, when Zé de Souza put in a rough tackle. 22 minutes into the game, one of GAINO:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Joel Arruda had in the 25thth minute some difficulties stopping Edson Madureira's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Abel Martins had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Geovanni Pitta. Korff FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abel Martins was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 33 played minutes GAINO got a freekick which was hit by Virgílio Luz. If Osmar Cosme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joel Arruda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Betinho Mineiro in the 42nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Severino Simão could shoot a difficult shot in the 46th minute, which Joel Arruda however easily saved by the left post. The Korff FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. GAINO were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emerson Carioca to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to GAINO getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Christiano Botelho hit a great ball. Geovanni Pitta came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by GAINO's Emerson Carioca. But to his dismay, Emerson Carioca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Korff FC's Geovanni Pitta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Korff FC from getting a goal against them. Hélder Oliveira's late challenge caught a Korff FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hélder Oliveira helped the player get up and apologised. After 60 played minutes GAINO got a freekick which was hit by Hélder Oliveira. Emerson Carioca scored 0-4 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Geovanni Pitta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 70 played minutes Korff FC got a freekick which was hit by Zé Paulo Leme. When Dawid Penczkowski came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the GAINO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dawid Penczkowski couldn't finish the play. After having played for 80 minutes, Abel Martins managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GAINO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abel Martins was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 82nd minute, Sidnei Bittencourt fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Geovanni Pitta, passed just outside the right post. 89 minutes into the game, Dawid Penczkowski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Geovanni Pitta. Dawid Penczkowski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Christiano Botelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovanni Pitta having to interfere. When the match was over GAINO could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Korff FC throughout the match.
