Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Betinho Mineiro took the kick off in the first half of the match. Flavinho Veloso hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Digo Arce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovanni Pitta having to interfere. 9 minutes into the match, Betinho Mineiro notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Breves EC's Otávio Penha. Otávio Penha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 15th match minute, Korff FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Paulo Leme to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Breves EC's Amadeu Koehler tried to score from far away in the 16th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 18 minutes into the match, Breves EC's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Simão came free, but Otávio Penha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute Betinho Mineiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otávio Penha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Korff FC's Severino Simão got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 22 minutes of play, Korff FC's Betinho Mineiro made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Otávio Penha was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Breves EC's zone, Betinho Mineiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Otávio Penha came out of the goal and Betinho Mineiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Severino Simão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dorian Seco kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Korff FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Almeida came free, but Geovanni Pitta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Betinho Mineiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Otávio Penha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Geovanni Pitta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Digo Arce, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Korff FC's Betinho Mineiro in the 64th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Otávio Penha was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Breves EC through an amazing save. Geovanni Pitta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Digo Arce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Digo Arce fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Breves EC's protests and gave Digo Arce a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Breves EC's Digo Arce got a free kick in the 71st minute. Betinho Mineiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Otávio Penha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Breves EC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Chico Queirós hit a great ball. The Korff FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Korff FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
