Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Gramados's Ismael de Sousa started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ismael de Sousa in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nestor Godoi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nestor Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael de Sousa in the 4th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ismael de Sousa in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nestor Godoi saved Itapipoca FC from getting behind. 7 minutes into the match, Itapipoca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Nascimento came free, but Nestor Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nestor Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael de Sousa in the 8th minute of play. 11 minutes into the game, Fellipe Loyola was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gramados's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Itapipoca FC the free kick. Fellipe Loyola hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 12thth minute of the game Ismael de Sousa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Itapipoca FC's Nestor Godoi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Itapipoca FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Jailson Meira hit a great ball. Nestor Godoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael de Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Prado in the 23rd minute of play forced Itapipoca FC's goalkeeper Nestor Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute, Ramiro Dionísio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 27 minutes, Fellipe Loyola made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Itapipoca FC's Nestor Godoi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 30 minutes into the match, Fellipe Loyola had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nestor Godoi. Itapipoca FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fellipe Loyola was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 33rd play minutes Ismael de Sousa shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Nestor Godoi and just under the crossbar into goal. Ismael de Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the match, Gramados's Ismael de Sousa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nestor Godoi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Itapipoca FC's zone, Fellipe Loyola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nestor Godoi came out of the goal and Fellipe Loyola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nestor Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fellipe Loyola in the 47th minute of play. When Gramados's Fellipe Loyola in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Itapipoca FC's goalie prevented a goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jailson Meira to make the kick off. Fellipe Loyola's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute, Nestor Godoi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Nestor Godoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael de Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Fellipe Loyola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Ismael de Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the match, Ismael de Sousa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nestor Godoi, 0-4. 63 minutes into the match, Gramados's Fellipe Loyola sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nestor Godoi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gugu Goiano might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maurício Valladares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gugu Goiano ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 69 minutes, Fellipe Loyola managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gramados's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fellipe Loyola was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edmundo Prado didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-5 via right post in the game's 72nd minute. Gramados's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! When Gramados's Ismael de Sousa in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Itapipoca FC's goalie prevented a goal. Nestor Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael de Sousa in the 79th minute of play. Ismael de Sousa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nestor Godoi having to make a save. With his leg Nestor Godoi managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when Gramados's Fellipe Loyola fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Itapipoca FC's Nestor Godoi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Itapipoca FC from getting a goal against them. Gramados's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
