Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Léo Saldanha hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute of the match Lauro Proença sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cesinha de Almeida skillfully saved the ball. Róbson Paraibano took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cesinha de Almeida. Cesinha de Almeida dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Renan Cerezo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 20 minutes into the match, Gold Roaring Lions's Afonso Tasso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Noel Mangueira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 25th minute of the match, Renan Cerezo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Noel Mangueira saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 1-1 became the score in the 26th minute when Afonso Tasso elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 31 minutes, Róbson Paraibano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Irgang and the Gold Roaring Lions players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 31st match minute, Irgang was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Róbson Paraibano to maneuver through the defense. Gold Roaring Lions's Roger Mendonça pulled a muscle in his leg after 35 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 35 minutes into the game, Rodriguinho Neiva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Irgang's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gold Roaring Lions the free kick. After having played for 46 minutes, Léo Saldanha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gold Roaring Lions's supporters crossed their fingers, but Léo Saldanha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Renan Cerezo to make the kick off. Renan Cerezo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cesinha de Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Rosa in the 61st minute of play. Cesinha de Almeida didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 67th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. After 71 played minutes Irgang got a freekick which was hit by Róbson Paraibano. Irgang's Vicente Rosa got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vicente Rosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 80th minute, Vicente Rosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cesinha de Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vivaldo Hoffmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. If Vicente Rosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Rosa in the 85th minute of play forced Gold Roaring Lions's goalkeeper Cesinha de Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the game, Renan Cerezo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Noel Mangueira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 89th minute, Vivaldo Hoffmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Irgang players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Gold Roaring Lions from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
