Adhemar Proença received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Oswaldo Brasil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oswaldo Brasil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agenor Diniz, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. A very good chance. 33 minutes into the match, Papanduba's goal looked a bit too open when Elivélton Hoffmann came free, but Oswaldo Brasil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oswaldo Brasil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agenor Diniz, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. A collision led to Botos FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Magno Pinheiro hit a great ball. When Botos FC's Adhemar Proença in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Papanduba's goalie prevented a goal. When Agenor Diniz came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Botos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agenor Diniz couldn't finish the play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adhemar Proença to make the kick off. Agenor Diniz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Oswaldo Brasil made a huge save. Botos FC's Adhemar Proença got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Oswaldo Brasil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agenor Diniz in the 56th minute. Adhemar Proença fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oswaldo Brasil having to interfere. Oswaldo Brasil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adhemar Proença in the 81st minute of play. Eriberto Vinhas hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. When Raphael Diniz came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Papanduba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raphael Diniz couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adhemar Proença in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oswaldo Brasil prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 93 minutes into the match, Papanduba's goal looked a bit too open when Elivélton Hoffmann came free, but Oswaldo Brasil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Botos FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
