Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Armandinho Netto took the kick off in the first half of the match. Luizinho Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdo Paiva in the 4th minute of play. Marcelo Quintal made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Jairo Faustino sent off a good shot on target. When Ivo Tavares came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Rolao fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivo Tavares couldn't finish the play. In the 19th match minute, Rolao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabiano Sá to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Rolao's zone, Armandinho Netto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelo Quintal came out of the goal and Armandinho Netto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luizinho Leão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivo Tavares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Valdo Paiva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rolao's supporters rose to their feet, but Valdo Paiva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luizinho Leão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luizinho Leão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdo Paiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. When Jairo Faustino came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Literlade AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jairo Faustino couldn't finish the play. 31 minutes into the match, Rolao's goal looked a bit too open when Magno Britto came free, but Marcelo Quintal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolao's Ivo Tavares got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Literlade AD's Armandinho Netto in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rolao's goalie prevented a goal.

Luizinho Leão was a little too slow when Ivo Tavares got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 51st minute. The score was now 0-1. In the 54th minute Genílson Ortiz suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Afonsinho Guerra charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Afonsinho Guerra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Literlade AD's Afonsinho Guerra got a free kick in the 55th minute. A collision led to Literlade AD getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Magno Britto hit a great ball. In the 65th match minute, Literlade AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Veiga to maneuver through the defense. Valdo Paiva who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Luizinho Leão when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armandinho Netto in the 69th minute of play forced Rolao's goalkeeper Marcelo Quintal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute Jairo Faustino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Quintal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Afonsinho Guerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armandinho Netto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Quintal having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Rolao walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
