Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Yuri Brasil took the kick off in the first half of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Otávio de Almeida during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 6th minute Adrianinho Zilles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inácio Bastos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrianinho Zilles in the 9th minute of play forced Almeida's goalkeeper Inácio Bastos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 10 played minutes Limeiro got a freekick which was hit by Rubens Hermes. Almeida's Diamantino Veiga got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Diamantino Veiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Almeida's supporters rose to their feet, but Diamantino Veiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Murilo Meireles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adrianinho Zilles took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Inácio Bastos. Inácio Bastos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Almeida's Caio Leal got a free kick in the 30th minute. Yuri Brasil in the 32ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Murilo Meireles, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diamantino Veiga got free with Murilo Meireles in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Yuri Brasil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murilo Meireles having to interfere. When Almeida's Yuri Brasil in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Limeiro's goalie prevented a goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adrianinho Zilles stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Almeida's Geraldo Mesquita couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 58th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Limeiro. After having played for 66 minutes, Diamantino Veiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Almeida's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diamantino Veiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Diamantino Veiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Murilo Meireles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yuri Brasil in the 71st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yuri Brasil in the 74th minute of play forced Limeiro's goalkeeper Murilo Meireles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Adrianinho Zilles came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Limeiro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adrianinho Zilles couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Almeida getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Geraldo Mesquita hit a great ball. João do Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Limeiro's goalkeeper Murilo Meireles, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Almeida's Yuri Brasil got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Murilo Meireles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diamantino Veiga in the 96th minute of play. The Almeida fans' excitement grew in the 97th match minute when Almeida's Diamantino Veiga looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
