Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Luiz Fernando Gaúcho started the match with the kick off. Wellington Mello blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Michel Koehler having to make a save. Osvaldo Tepedino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fernando Gaúcho in the 4th minute of play. In the 6th minute, Nilton Vale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Topazio AD's zone, Wellington Mello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michel Koehler came out of the goal and Wellington Mello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Topazio AD's Michel Koehler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Alagoano in the 9th minute of play. Afonsinho Lopez kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 16th play minute Wellington Mello came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Michel Koehler. 1-0. Michel Koehler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diego Alagoano in the 19th minute. Osvaldo Tepedino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fernando Gaúcho in the 20th minute of play. Magno Rodrigues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 26 minutes into the game, Ademar da Fonseca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brusque SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Topazio AD the free kick. A collision led to Brusque SC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Ademar da Fonseca hit a great ball. Osvaldo Tepedino came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Topazio AD's Magno Rodrigues. But to his dismay, Magno Rodrigues quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Osvaldo Tepedino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Fernando Gaúcho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Diego Alagoano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brusque SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Diego Alagoano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michel Koehler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luís Guilherme Recife hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. If Magno Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Diego Alagoano made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Magno Rodrigues got free with Osvaldo Tepedino in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Osvaldo Tepedino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Fernando Gaúcho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diego Alagoano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Michel Koehler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diego Alagoano spun around in front of the goal 69 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Topazio AD's goal. In the 71st minute, Wellington Mello got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Topazio AD's zone, Wellington Mello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michel Koehler came out of the goal and Wellington Mello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 76thth minute of the game Diego Alagoano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Topazio AD's Michel Koehler was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 77 played minutes Topazio AD got a freekick which was hit by Nilton Vale. The audience was convinced that Wellington Mello's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Michel Koehler was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. When Magno Rodrigues came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Topazio AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Magno Rodrigues couldn't finish the play. After having played for 86 minutes, Luiz Fernando Gaúcho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Topazio AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Fernando Gaúcho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Topazio AD's Luiz Fernando Gaúcho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Osvaldo Tepedino. That made the score 1-2 after 88 minutes of play. When Magno Rodrigues came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Topazio AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Magno Rodrigues couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Luiz Fernando Gaúcho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Topazio AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Fernando Gaúcho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Osvaldo Tepedino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A nice corner shot did that Raphael Donato got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Osvaldo Tepedino quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
