Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Wellington Mota started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Telmo Maia struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Dênis Porto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guraituba. The audience was convinced that Enéas Paulista's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but José Carlos Paulista was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jorginho das Neves during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jorginho das Neves hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 16 minutes into the match, Guraituba's Telmo Maia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dênis Porto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 17th play minutes Wellington Mota shot 0-1, a short shot which went by José Carlos Paulista and just under the crossbar into goal. After a rather tough play, SBSfc's Jorginho das Neves got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Amauri Secco, 23 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 24 played minutes SBSfc got a freekick which was hit by Jerônimo Miranda. Telmo Maia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alberto Cosme kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After 38 played minutes, SBSfc's Arí Pereira shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper José Carlos Paulista came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SBSfc reached it. If Jorginho das Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half SBSfc were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Telmo Maia made a kick off. Enéas Paulista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Carlos Paulista having to interfere. Wellington Mota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 63rd minute of the game. One of SBSfc:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Guraituba:s goal. SBSfc's Enéas Paulista got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Telmo Maia might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dênis Porto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Telmo Maia ran back to his position shaking his head. João Augusto da Fonseca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dênis Porto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Telmo Maia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jorginho das Neves kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, SBSfc's Enéas Paulista sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that José Carlos Paulista narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wellington Mota in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José Carlos Paulista prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 86th minute Wellington Mota shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Carlos Paulista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enéas Paulista blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without José Carlos Paulista having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Guraituba's Róbson Peixoto got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guraituba's goalkeeper José Carlos Paulista, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Enéas Paulista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
