Vladimir Leão charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vladimir Leão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to SitioUruoca getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Vladimir Leão hit a great ball. If Denis Trandafir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albertinho Messias stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Denis Trandafir's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Vladimir Leão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Maciej Bartochowski made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cido Moreira in the 21st minute of play forced Ratones's goalkeeper Maciej Bartochowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Denis Trandafir in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Albertinho Messias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cido Moreira kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Trandafir in the 26th minute of play forced SitioUruoca's goalkeeper Albertinho Messias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 28 minutes of play, Ratones's Denis Trandafir made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Albertinho Messias was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Ratones's Denis Trandafir in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SitioUruoca's goalie prevented a goal. In the 33rdth minute of the game Denis Trandafir who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SitioUruoca's Albertinho Messias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Denis Trandafir in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Albertinho Messias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ratones's Maciej Bartochowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cido Moreira in the 40th minute of play. Albertinho Messias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reginaldo Cabral, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After having played for 44 minutes, Denis Trandafir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ratones's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denis Trandafir was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Denis Trandafir's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Albertinho Messias was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. After the first half Ratones were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Denis Trandafir to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, SitioUruoca's goalkeeper Albertinho Messias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Fernando Alvarenga. Fernando Aleixo came free with the goalkeeper in the 54th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Albertinho Messias could save by the left post. Albertinho Messias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reginaldo Cabral in the 55th minute of play. Denis Trandafir did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised Albertinho Messias 57 minutes into the match. When Evandro Arantes fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SitioUruoca's protests and gave Evandro Arantes a yellow card for diving instead. Luís Fernando Alvarenga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Maciej Bartochowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cido Moreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. If Denis Trandafir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SitioUruoca's Albertinho Messias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save SitioUruoca from getting a goal against them. Ratones's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
