Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Vitinho Costa took the kick off in the first half of the match. Albino's Nelson Furtado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sidnei Cordeiro in the 7th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Albino's Nildo Soares got a free kick in the 9th minute. After some careless play in the Albino defense, Vitinho Costa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nelson Furtado. The Albino fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nelson Furtado should have stopped the shot. Palmeirante FC's Vitinho Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vitinho Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nelson Furtado having to interfere. Sérgio Lucas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Albino's goalkeeper Nelson Furtado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vitinho Costa hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Gustavo Pirani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Mattos, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After 31 played minutes Albino got a freekick which was hit by Zé Carlos Pombal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alberto Coelho was the one to do the kick off. Alexsandro Couto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Nelson Furtado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Albino booed when Palmeirante FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Vítor Loureiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Dedé Lago managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palmeirante FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dedé Lago was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nelson Furtado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 62 minutes, Zé Carlos Pombal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Albino and the Palmeirante FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Palmeirante FC booed when Albino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Carlos Pombal didn't get a good kick on the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Palmeirante FC's Sérgio Lucas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nelson Furtado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sidnei Cordeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nelson Furtado having to interfere. Nelson Furtado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexsandro Couto in the 80th minute of the match. When Sidnei Cordeiro came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Palmeirante FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sidnei Cordeiro couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Vicente Mattos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Albino's supporters rose to their feet, but Vicente Mattos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustavo Pirani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Albino's zone, Dedé Lago stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nelson Furtado came out of the goal and Dedé Lago tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nelson Furtado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dedé Lago went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score.
