Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Serrano FC's Gustavo Urbano started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Serrano FC's Roberto Lopez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Pontes in the 3rd minute of play. Roberto Lopez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Zé Roberto Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th minute, Jonas Pontes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonas Pontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonas Pontes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roberto Lopez having to make a save. 15 minutes into the game, Carlos Eduardo Velasco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Roberto Lopez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luís Guilherme Loureiro during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Luiz Fábio Melo kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. If Carlos Eduardo Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roberto Lopez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Eduardo Velasco in the 29th minute of play. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Carlos Eduardo Velasco sped through Serrano FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Roberto Lopez. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Eduardo Velasco in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roberto Lopez saved Serrano FC from getting behind. Carlos Eduardo Velasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Lopez having to interfere. Roberto Lopez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Eduardo Velasco in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Jonas Pontes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roberto Lopez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Afonso Fontes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Reinaldo Sabóia made a huge save.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos Eduardo Velasco made a kick off. Jonas Pontes succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 55th playminute. 58 minutes into the match, Apurima's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Urbano came free, but Reinaldo Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 59 played minutes Apurima got a freekick which was hit by Zé Roberto Vidal. Serrano FC's Roberto Lopez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Eduardo Velasco in the 68th minute of play. The referee ignored Apurima's protests and gave João Pedro de Sousa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th match minute, Apurima was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Pedro de Sousa to maneuver through the defense.
