Eurico Motta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeca Pontes having to interfere. Angelo de Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joélson Teixeira in the 12th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the game, one of Dream Club Soccer:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Manoel Zanette placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Wilson Aparecido charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wilson Aparecido the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Wilson Aparecido kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Manoel Zanette took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Angelo de Sousa. Dream Club Soccer's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 23rd minute Celso Valadares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeca Pontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Joélson Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Serrito's goalkeeper Zeca Pontes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Serrito's Zeca Pontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Valadares in the 39th minute of play. Zeca Pontes made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Eurico Motta sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Celso Valadares in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zeca Pontes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Celso Valadares to make the kick off. Angelo de Sousa was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Dagoberto Carneiro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dagoberto Carneiro really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. The supporters of Dream Club Soccer booed when Serrito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Queirós didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Eurico Motta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dream Club Soccer's supporters rose to their feet, but Eurico Motta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zeca Pontes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Serrito's Jairo Quirino got a free kick in the 65th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eurico Motta in the 67th minute of play forced Serrito's goalkeeper Zeca Pontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dream Club Soccer's Angelo de Sousa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Dream Club Soccer from getting a goal against them. Joélson Teixeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Angelo de Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Rodolfo Queirós took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Angelo de Sousa to make any attempt to save it. After 89 played minutes Dream Club Soccer got a freekick which was hit by Guilherme Tavares. Manoel Zanette was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 90th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Joélson Teixeira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Serrito's supporters rose to their feet, but Joélson Teixeira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelo de Sousa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Dream Club Soccer fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Serrito were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
