The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Augusto Amorim during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gláuber Ortiz was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Tricolor de Aço's Luís Leme got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Otávio Porto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gláuber Ortiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Otávio Porto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Carvalho in the 61st minute of the match. Otávio Porto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nilson da Mata, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eusébio Dias received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Chants of Tricolor de Aço echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Lupercio had held the ball for most of the match.
