Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Cléber Valadares started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 6th match minute, Orienta EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodriguinho Veiga to maneuver through the defense. Luís Eduardo Lima's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zeca Fontes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. If Márcio Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacauna's Luan Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cléber Valadares in the 22nd minute of play. Zeca Fontes made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Ivo Bittencourt sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anderson Borges in the 26th minute of play forced Jacauna's goalkeeper Luan Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cléber Valadares scored 0-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luan Queirós, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 34 played minutes Orienta EC got a freekick which was hit by Dário Moura. Luís Eduardo Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeca Fontes having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, David Correia notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Jacauna's Luan Queirós. Luan Queirós was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zeca Fontes was a little too slow when Luís Eduardo Lima got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cléber Valadares in the 44th minute of play forced Jacauna's goalkeeper Luan Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th match minute, Orienta EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dário Moura to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Ivo Bittencourt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jacauna's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivo Bittencourt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zeca Fontes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luís Eduardo Lima to strike the kick off in the second half. Jacauna were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Orienta EC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Teodoro Cardozo took the corner. Dário Moura tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Zeca Fontes. An unnecessary self made goal, 2-2 in the 54th minute. Jacauna's Ivo Bittencourt got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luan Queirós was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but David Correia showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 63 minute of play. Luan Queirós made an important save on a dangerous shot by David Correia in the 67th minute. Zeca Fontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Eduardo Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. David Correia's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Luan Queirós firmly grabbed it by the left post. Dário Moura hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Luís Eduardo Lima recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zeca Fontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Eduardo Lima in the 82nd minute of the match. Orienta EC's Zeca Fontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Eduardo Lima in the 83rd minute of play. If Luís Eduardo Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luan Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cléber Valadares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dino Ramalho lost his temper 90 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 90th minute of the game. One of Jacauna:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Orienta EC:s goal. A collision led to Orienta EC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. André Luiz de Amaral hit a great ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Orienta EC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
