Enéas Galvão yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. If Paulo José Cosme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Paulo José Cosme blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Enéas Galvão having to make a save. In the 15th match minute, Mucana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geovanni Cunha to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the match, Reriutaba's Luisinho Xavier broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a rather tough play, Mucana's Oséias Hoffmann got a free kick in the 17th minute. Luisinho Xavier, 18 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Reriutaba's zone, Alberto Eger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Caetano Esteves came out of the goal and Alberto Eger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 28 played minutes Mucana got a freekick which was hit by Oséias Hoffmann. After a defensive mix-up in Mucana's zone, Paulo José Cosme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enéas Galvão came out of the goal and Paulo José Cosme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 32 played minutes Mucana got a freekick which was hit by Renato Arósio. When Reriutaba's Alexandre Salles in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mucana's goalie prevented a goal. 41 minutes into the match, Mucana's Alberto Eger sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Caetano Esteves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Samuel Dias charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Samuel Dias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 41 played minutes Reriutaba got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Dias. 45 minutes into the game, Mucana's Juninho de Mendonça nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Caetano Esteves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alberto Eger to strike the kick off in the second half. Reriutaba's Caetano Esteves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Eger in the 55th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Alberto Eger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mucana's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Eger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Caetano Esteves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 65 minutes in the game, Alberto Eger fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Caetano Esteves having to interfere. Caetano Esteves was out of position in the 67 minute of play, and Alberto Eger capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alberto Eger really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Reriutaba's Caetano Esteves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Reriutaba from getting a goal against them. If Juninho de Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 77 minutes, Alberto Eger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mucana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Eger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Mucana's Juninho de Mendonça sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Caetano Esteves narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
