Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mário Linares started the match with the kick off. After 2 played minutes Maconha got a freekick which was hit by Tales Galvão. Nicolas Secco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 4th minute, Valdo de Queiroz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dieguinho Rodrigues didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 5th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Thomás Jacinto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adrianinho Goiano having to make a save. Mário Linares struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Adrianinho Goiano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maconha. In the 18th minute, Luís Queirós hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Cananea AD's Richard Sá got a free kick in the 21st minute. 23 minutes into the match, Maconha's goalkeeper Dieguinho Rodrigues had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerson Mandrak. Thomás Jacinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nilson Queirós hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Maconha's Nuno Veloso got a free kick in the 30th minute. Alexandre Pirani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Dieguinho Rodrigues made a huge save. In the 34th minute Gláuber Fontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dieguinho Rodrigues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Maconha getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Valdo de Queiroz hit a great ball. Richard Sá's late challenge caught a Maconha's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Richard Sá helped the player get up and apologised. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Silas Leite to strike the kick off in the second half. Maconha's Mário Linares got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silas Leite in the 53rd minute of play forced Maconha's goalkeeper Dieguinho Rodrigues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zé Roberto Vergílio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mário Linares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrianinho Goiano having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Thomás Jacinto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mário Linares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Adrianinho Goiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dieguinho Rodrigues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Sá in the 77th minute of play. After having played for 82 minutes, Mário Linares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maconha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mário Linares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Silas Leite sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
