With a little luck, Jáquetáquevá's Jean Leão got control of the ball when Elias Leal tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 18th minute, Elias Leal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Profeta FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Elias Leal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Jáquetáquevá's Régis Montenegro got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 35thth minute of the game Falcão Furtado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jáquetáquevá's Jean Leão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Jáquetáquevá booed when Profeta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Falcão Furtado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roger Chaves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jáquetáquevá's Jean Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Falcão Furtado in the 43rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roger Chaves in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valdo Senna saved Profeta FC from getting behind. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roger Chaves to make the kick off. Jáquetáquevá's Jean Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Leal in the 57th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Profeta FC's zone, Gugu Donato stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valdo Senna came out of the goal and Gugu Donato tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Falcão Furtado struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Jean Leão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Profeta FC. Falcão Furtado succeeded in the game's 63rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jáquetáquevá's goalkeeper Jean Leão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jean Leão came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Profeta FC's Falcão Furtado. But to his dismay, Falcão Furtado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Profeta FC's Elias Leal got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 75th minute of the match Cafu Sabóia sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jean Leão skillfully saved the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Jáquetáquevá's goal looked a bit too open when Falcão Furtado came free, but Jean Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 79 played minutes Jáquetáquevá got a freekick which was hit by Paulo José Costa. If Elias Leal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Falcão Furtado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean Leão having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Jáquetáquevá's goal looked a bit too open when Falcão Furtado came free, but Jean Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gugu Donato could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Valdo Senna made a huge save. Elias Leal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Jean Leão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jáquetáquevá's Jean Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Leal in the 97th minute of play. There was no doubt that Profeta FC were the better team. Profeta FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
