Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sidney Brito started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Profeta FC's Elias Leal got a free kick in the 4th minute. Bernardinho de Mendonça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Leal, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Bernardinho de Mendonça didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Falcão Furtado went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to Patrimonio getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Válbson Andrade hit a great ball. Falcão Furtado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 14 minutes, Falcão Furtado made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Patrimonio's Bernardinho de Mendonça tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 19th minute, Sidney Brito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Profeta FC's zone, Marcelo Almeida stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valdo Senna came out of the goal and Marcelo Almeida tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 23 minutes, Elias Leal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Profeta FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elias Leal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bernardinho de Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Falcão Furtado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, Falcão Furtado notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Patrimonio's Bernardinho de Mendonça. Bernardinho de Mendonça was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bernardinho de Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Falcão Furtado in the 42nd minute of the match. The supporters of Profeta FC booed when Patrimonio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robinho Pimenta didn't get a good kick on the ball. A nice corner shot did that Ricardo Brito got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bernardinho de Mendonça quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 47th match minute, Profeta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celsinho Marquez to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.
The wind increased when Falcão Furtado made the kick off in the second half. Valdo Senna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Almeida in the 53rd minute of play. Falcão Furtado received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bernardinho de Mendonça came out and tried to block the shot, but Falcão Furtado slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 55th minute. When Elias Leal came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Profeta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elias Leal couldn't finish the play. Elias Leal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robinho Pimenta kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Bernardinho de Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Falcão Furtado in the 66th minute of play. Válbson Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Falcão Furtado fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as Elias Leal kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bernardinho de Mendonça. That made the score 0-5 in the 73 minute of play. If Elias Leal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Alfredo Bertassi fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Patrimonio's protests and gave Alfredo Bertassi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th minute, Alfredo Bertassi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The attack was good, but when Falcão Furtado in the 79th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. A collision led to Patrimonio getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Alfredo Bertassi hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Almeida in the 83rd minute of play forced Profeta FC's goalkeeper Valdo Senna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cafu Sabóia kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcelo Almeida in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valdo Senna prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Patrimonio's Bernardinho de Mendonça proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Patrimonio from getting a goal against them. The Patrimonio fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Profeta FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
