Dalmo Campidelis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Douglas Dante's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. In the 23rd minute, Paulo José de Senna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dalmo Campidelis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Douglas Dante in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Alfredinho Vidal notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of São Paulo's Dalmo Campidelis. Dalmo Campidelis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
