Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ezequiel Mota started the match with the kick off. After 5 minutes, Edgar Simões mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Creca EC and the Itaperu SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Edgar Simões hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Virgílio Soares struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. João Paulo Mineiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itaperu SC. Reynaldo de Alcântara kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Willian Alcântara scored 1-0 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of João Paulo Mineiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Virgílio Soares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ezequiel Mota in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Donato Loureiro saved Itaperu SC from getting behind. 27 minutes into the game, Reynaldo de Alcântara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Creca EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Itaperu SC the free kick. In the 27th match minute, Creca EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reynaldo de Alcântara to maneuver through the defense. Itaperu SC's Donato Loureiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeu Jacinto in the 32nd minute of play. Donato Loureiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ezequiel Mota in the 34th minute of play. If Willian Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 38 minutes into the match, Itaperu SC's Virgílio Soares sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that João Paulo Mineiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With his leg João Paulo Mineiro managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when Itaperu SC's Willian Alcântara fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.

The wind increased when Virgílio Soares made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Itaperu SC's Erik Hames broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Romeu Jacinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Willian Alcântara in the 66th minute of play forced Creca EC's goalkeeper João Paulo Mineiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Paulo Mineiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgílio Soares in the 67th minute of the match. João Paulo Mineiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Willian Alcântara, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. If Romeu Jacinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donato Loureiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ezequiel Mota in the 90th minute of the match. After having played for 91 minutes, Virgílio Soares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itaperu SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Virgílio Soares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. João Paulo Mineiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Willian Alcântara, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Itaperu SC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
