Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Arroio do Sal EC's Fabinho Sarmento started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Arnaldo Senna kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Arroio do Sal EC's zone, Romeu Jacinto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diogo de Godoi came out of the goal and Romeu Jacinto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Diogo de Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Simões in the 8th minute of play. Diogo de Godoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ezequiel Mota, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Romeu Jacinto could shoot a difficult shot in the 19th minute, which Diogo de Godoi however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ezequiel Mota in the 35th minute of play forced Arroio do Sal EC's goalkeeper Diogo de Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot by Cipriano Koehler from long distance, 37 minutes into the match, got Diogo de Godoi's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Diogo de Godoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ezequiel Mota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Caio Pirani hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ezequiel Mota in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Diogo de Godoi saved Arroio do Sal EC from getting behind. Ezequiel Mota's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Diogo de Godoi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ezequiel Mota to make the kick off. Diogo de Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ezequiel Mota in the 52nd minute of play. After having played for 53 minutes, Romeu Jacinto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Creca EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romeu Jacinto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Arroio do Sal EC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Cleiton da Silva hit a great ball. After 57 minutes of play, Creca EC's Romeu Jacinto made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Diogo de Godoi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Diogo de Godoi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Romeu Jacinto went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to Creca EC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Romeu Jacinto hit a great ball. Diogo de Godoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romeu Jacinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diogo de Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romeu Jacinto in the 76th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Arroio do Sal EC's goal looked a bit too open when Ezequiel Mota came free, but Diogo de Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 80 minutes into the game, Creca EC's Ezequiel Mota nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Diogo de Godoi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Romeu Jacinto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 86 minutes into the match, Arroio do Sal EC's goal looked a bit too open when Romeu Jacinto came free, but Diogo de Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute, Gilvan Faria reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of João Paulo Mineiro. The goal made the score 3-1. The supporters of Creca EC booed when Arroio do Sal EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afonsinho Ceresso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Creca EC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
